That difference comes out in the details, like how our balm doesn't leave paws wet and make prints on the floor, our shampoo works to a rich lather and rinses easily, and leave-in conditioner leaves their coat and your hands soft and supple. Purified water that acts as the base of our formulas. It dissolves and carries active ingredients evenly across the coat and skin. Helps deliver hydration where it’s needed and supports a smooth, easy spread.

A plant-derived humectant (often from cane sugar or vegetable oils). It pulls water into the outer skin layers to keep them hydrated. Helps maintain a soft, comfortable skin barrier and leaves coats feeling smooth.

Cold-pressed from aloe filets (the inside of the aloe leaf). Our supplier carefully cuts out the filets to ensure no contamination with the outer leaf. Naturally soothing and water-binding, it calms irritation and supports skin moisture balance. Promotes a comfortable, conditioned skin feel and adds light slip to the coat.

Biodegradable cleanser made by reacting coconut-derived fatty alcohols with sugar. Provides ultra-mild cleansing and gentle foam. Lifts away dirt without stripping, leaving the coat fresh and soft.

Coconut-derived amphoteric surfactant. Boosts foam creaminess and reduces potential irritation from other cleansers. Gives a rich, cushiony lather that rinses clean and feels gentle on skin.

A sulfate-free cleanser derived from coconut fatty acids and isethionate. Produces fine, silky foam with excellent mildness. Cleans effectively while preserving natural oils for a soft, non-squeaky coat.

A fermentation-derived polysaccharide (from sugar). It naturally thickens and stabilizes formulas. Creates a smooth, even application and helps actives stay put for better performance.

Bio-based (often from corn sugar) solvent and humectant. Improves absorption of key ingredients and adds light hydration. Enhances glide, reduces tack, and supports overall skin comfort.

Finely milled oats with beta-glucans and avenanthramides. Soothes and cushions stressed skin while helping it hold moisture. Calms itch-prone areas and supports a healthy skin barrier.

A vitamin B5 precursor that converts to pantothenic acid in skin. Acts as a moisture magnet and film former. Improves coat softness and sheen while helping skin feel hydrated and resilient.

A naturally occurring component of skin’s Natural Moisturizing Factor (often fermented from plants). Powerful humectant that binds water to the skin. Helps maintain long-lasting hydration and suppleness.

Botanical extract rich in soothing flavonoids. Helps calm visible redness and discomfort. Supports comfortable skin and a more relaxed grooming experience.

A widely used preservative that protects formulas from microbial growth. Ensures safety and shelf stability. Keeps products fresh and effective from first use to last.

Skin-conditioning polyol that also boosts preservative systems. Adds light moisturization and supports product integrity. Helps formulas stay safe while feeling silky on skin and coat.

Food-grade preservative originally inspired by rowan berries. Inhibits yeast and mold growth. Maintains product freshness without heavy preservative systems.

Plant-derived acid used to balance pH. Optimizes formula mildness and performance. Helps cleansers rinse clean and keeps skin feeling comfortable.

Plant-based conditioning system from rapeseed oil plus a fatty alcohol. Detangles, reduces static, and adds slip without heaviness. Leaves coats silky, manageable, and easy to brush. (does not contain pure alcohol as we think of it, which is very drying).

Silk amino acids broken down for better absorption. Forms a lightweight, conditioning film that retains moisture. Enhances shine, smoothness, and combability.

Cold-pressed from argan kernels. Rich in fatty acids and tocopherols to nourish and soften. Helps smooth the hair shaft and support skin comfort.

A liquid wax from jojoba seeds structurally similar to natural sebum. Balances moisture and provides non-greasy conditioning. Softens coat and helps keep skin comfortable.

A stable, lightweight emollient (sugar-cane derived). Replenishes lipids and reduces moisture loss. Leaves skin satiny and coat soft without residue.

Sugar-based solubilizer/cleanser from coconut and corn. Helps blend oils/fragrance into water and boosts mild cleansing. Supports clear, stable formulas that feel gentle.

Rice proteins enzymatically broken into smaller peptides. Improves moisture retention and helps add body and shine. Supports a fuller-looking, stronger-feeling coat.

Cold-pressed from broccoli seeds; naturally high in erucic acid. Provides silicone-like slip and shine without silicones. Leaves coat glossy and smooth while cushioning the skin.

Chelating agent derived from glucose fermentation. Binds metal ions to protect formula stability and preservative efficacy. Helps products stay fresh and perform consistently.

Starch from the arrowroot plant. Gently absorbs excess oils and moisture. Refreshes the coat between baths and leaves a clean, soft feel.

A mild, cosmetic clay rich in kaolinite. Absorbs oil and impurities without over-drying. Leaves the coat fresher with a soft, velvety finish.

Mineral powder buffering agent. Helps neutralize odors and balance acidity in dry formulas. Supports a fresher-smelling coat between washes.

Concentrated aloe solids made by dehydrating aloe juice. Rehydrates into formulas to deliver soothing, water-binding polysaccharides. Calms skin and supports lightweight hydration.

Steam-distilled from Anthemis nobilis flowers. Known for its calming aroma and skin-soothing properties at low dilution. Helps create a gentle, comforting experience during use.

Plant wax from the candelilla shrub. Provides structure and a protective occlusive layer in balms. Seals in moisture to keep paw pads and noses soft.

Coconut oil with medium-chain triglycerides isolated for stability and light feel. Glides on easily and resists oxidation. Softens and conditions without greasiness.

Butter expressed from shea nuts. Rich in fatty acids that cushion and protect the skin barrier. Helps dry areas feel comforted and keeps coats looking conditioned.

Cold-pressed from sea buckthorn berries or seeds; naturally colorful and nutrient-dense. Supports skin barrier health with omega fatty acids and antioxidants. Helps rough spots look and feel restored.

Antioxidant typically derived from plant oils. Protects oils in the formula from oxidation and supports skin conditioning. Helps maintain product freshness and adds a nourishing touch.
