The Science

Our triple-cleanser base — coco-glucoside, hydroxysultaine, and sodium lauroyl methyl isethionate — lifts grime without stripping, leaving the coat clean, calm, and balanced.

Colloidal oatmeal, chamomile, and aloe vera work together to soothe irritation, reduce redness, and support the skin’s natural healing process.

Panthenol, glycerin, and sodium PCA attract and lock in hydration, helping maintain a soft, elastic coat that resists tangles and dryness.

BTMS-25 adds lightweight slip for easy detangling, softening each strand without heaviness or buildup. Hydrolyzed silk protein and squalane smooth the hair shaft and reinforce the coat’s natural barrier, enhancing shine, texture, and resilience.

Argan and jojoba oils finish the formula with featherlight nourishment — helping restore vitality without ever feeling greasy.

Used together, they mimic a full skincare routine — cleansing, replenishing, and protecting in one streamlined ritual.

How To Use

Thoroughly wet your dog’s coat with lukewarm water, letting it soak through to the skin. This preps the coat for even cleansing. Apply shampoo directly to the coat and massage gently. The formula will bloom into a creamy, milky lather. Focus on areas that get dirtiest: paws, chest, tail base. Rinse until the water runs clear and the coat feels soft.

Towel dry and spritz the conditioner lightly from neck to tail. Use your hands to distribute the product through the coat and massage the face. This step seals in hydration, adds softness, and reduces post-bath tangling. (and your hands will feel super soft)

Blow dry and finish with a brushing to bring out natural texture and shine.

Yes! We found the ideal blend of gentle surfactants that thouroughly cleanse without the need for sulfates which strip the skin and coat from natural oils.

Is it hypoallergenic?

Our formula is free from synthetics and artificial fragrance. We use skin-friendly, pH-balanced ingredients developed with sensitive pups in mind — but always patch test if you're unsure. Since it is a powder, avoid the nose area which may cause sneezing.

How often should I bathe my dog?

That depends on lifestyle and coat type, but once every 2–4 weeks is a great rhythm for most. Our formulas are gentle enough to use more frequently if needed.

Is this safe for sensitive skin or puppies?

Yes. Both formulas are pH-balanced for canine skin and free from harsh surfactants, parabens, silicones, and drying alcohols. They’re safe for puppies over 12 weeks old and dogs with sensitive skin.

Is it hypoallergenic?

Yes — though it’s worth noting that there’s no official standard for what “hypoallergenic” means in pet care. So we made our own. Every Bloom Groom formula is crafted to be ultra-gentle, using only ingredients that are known to be well-tolerated by dogs. That means no sulfates, drying alcohols, silicones, parabens, or synthetic fragrances — even our scented options use low-level, plant-based blends designed with sensitive pups in mind. If it doesn’t serve the skin, it’s not in the bottle.
